We have a concept at McGraw Hill: Red Cube Proud
It’s the spirit of how we interact with our customers, and with each other. Red Cube Proud means a commitment to giving each other the room to be ourselves, to have the chance to share ideas and have them be heard, and to celebrate, respect and reflect the diversity of the learners we serve.

At McGraw Hill, we're committed to supporting education in the communities we serve through staff volunteerism and financial support. McGraw Hill's Red Cube Cares program supports and celebrates employee giving around the world and our Matching Gift program encourages employee giving by providing additional funding to qualifying nonprofit organizations where our employees have made personal donations.
During Global Volunteer Week 2024, employees participated in 26 volunteer events in five countries, accumulating over 844 volunteer hours to respond to our communities' most urgent needs.
In 2023, McGraw Hill matched over $240,000 in employee donations to various charities and raised $118,000 for fundraising campaigns as part of its Holiday Giving and Operation Backpack initiatives.
Access through affordability.
We offer a program called Inclusive Access, designed by institutions and guided by the Department of Education to deliver digital learning resources to students on or before the first day of class. As a result, students save on their class materials, and grades improve on average.
Access through personalized, interactive education technology.
Our learning platforms are deploying artificial intelligence (AI) and other tools to adapt each student’s engagement to their unique knowledge level and learning style. We continue to develop products that are easier to use, more engaging, and deliver better outcomes for students and educators across the globe. Our data security was recently recognized with SOC 2 Compliance Certification, demonstrating our commitment to following industry best practices to provide secure and stable products for our customers.

Access through product design that makes learning accessible to students of all abilities.
Our comprehensive accessibility strategy, from planning and research through employee training and product development, ensures that the interests of all learners are a priority as the company brings new educational content and technologies to market.
Our responsibility to learners and educators includes protecting the planet.
At McGraw Hill, we are taking steps to reduce our emissions footprint, as we recognize that part of helping learners unlock their full potential means taking care of the world where we live. By focusing on sustainability, we will continue to drive meaningful improvements to this critical measure of our environmental stewardship.
Since 2013, McGraw Hill has reduced its carbon footprint by decreasing its square footage by over 2 million rentable square feet, implementing energy-saving technology and avoiding landfills by participating in private and municipal recycling programs.
Paper is one of the principal raw materials used in our business, which is why we’ve placed an emphasis on ensuring that 95% of the paper we purchase directly in the U.S. is sustainably sourced.
Several of our offices are Gold LEED certified and exemplify our long-term commitment to smart environmental construction and real estate management. Our hybrid work model enables us to lower the emissions associated with both our office spaces and employee commutes.
