OM in the News is a blog and newsletter available in Connect or stand-alone that was created for Operations & Supply Chain Management faculty by faculty, to supplement any course with up to the minute and relevant course material that’s followed by critical thinking questions for class discussion! All articles and videos are mapped by chapter to McGraw Hill Operations & Supply Chain Management titles making it easy to choose relevant and up to date material to use in class, at any stage of the course, and each are followed by discussion questions and/or guidance for great class discussion starters or projects.

A series of On-Location Videos and Concept Overview Videos provide interactive opportunities to support student learning. On-Location Videos highlight real companies and their actual manufacturing processes, bringing key operations management topics to life. Algorithmic Problems
Algorithmic problems are auto-graded exercises using different numeric values each time a problem is served up to the student. This gives students practice in working a problem several times – same question, but different numbers each time. This also deters cheating because each student in a class or lab receives a slightly different version of the problem and correct answer.
