Texas Wonders is designed to foster a love of reading in all children with a variety of resources designed to support core literacy, English learners, struggling readers, and biliteracy needs. Students experience the power of literacy through the exploration of texts and daily development of their skills as readers, writers, speakers, and active listeners. Our focus on teaching the whole child—and every child—prepares students to be lifelong learners and critical thinkers.
My hope for Texas students is that their teachers can help every student become a skillful and motivated reader and writer.
