Building Technical Proficiency, Creativity, and Innovation
The comprehensive Level Up through Digital Discoveries series guides students from their very first clicks in Grade 1 to mastering advanced computing and programming concepts by the end of Grade 12. Across each level, students build confidence in digital communication, coding, design, cybersecurity, AI, and real-world problem-solving. Structured lessons, creative projects, and hands-on activities empower students to build their computing skills.
This program takes learners deeper into the world of technology through a more detailed and robust look at how computers work. Learners will explore coding for games, as well as animations and robots. They’ll also be introduced to relevant and current concepts like cloud collaboration, and they’ll develop their critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. With real-world applications and hands-on activities, students will gain technical proficiency while also enhancing their creativity and communication in a digital world.
Skill building – Students will learn computer fundamentals, and they will be introduced to cloud collaboration. They’ll dig deeper into internet safety, and they’ll explore game design, AI basics, 3D modeling, and machine learning.
Active learning – Students will build their technical know-how in coding, design, and communication, and they’ll be encouraged to work alongside others creatively and collaboratively.
Bringing the subject to life – The program leans on the real world to establish relevance and to enhance motivation.
Commitment to pedagogy – The book follows a spiral curriculum ensuring that students are shown the material at relevant and appropriate grade levels, each time at a higher level of difficulty and in greater depth.
Robotics and AI – These are introduced in our earliest grades and gain complexity as learners work their way through the content, with supplementary content available for Robotics for Grades 1‒8.
