Fostering a love of science starts on day one. Inspire Science supports K–5 teachers in helping their students build key foundational skills through fun, hands-on learning experiences.

Making Every Moment Count

Science for Every Schedule

Fit science into every schedule with four flexible lesson tracks for classrooms ranging from those with time for only two 30-minute classes to those with enough time for five full 45-minute classes each week. Designed to align with critical science standards, each track lets teachers teach their way in the time that they have. All four tracks include: 

  • Coverage of grade-level science standards within the 5E framework. 
  • The ability to customize lessons to meet your instructional style.
  • Scaffolded supports for students of all levels.
  • An abundance of engaging multimedia and hand-on resources.

Real-World STEM Connection

To combat this widening "STEM Gap," Inspire Science actively connects each module and lesson to a diverse selection of STEM careers. Formative Assessment

One of the most effective ways to support conceptual learning is through formative assessment. That is why Inspire Science begins every lesson with a formative assessment science probe to assess prior knowledge. Science probes present a real-world phenomenon or core concept to promote student thinking and discussion while revealing what commonly held preconceptions and initial ideas your students are bringing to their learning so you can best inform your instruction.
