SRA Open Court Reading is a comprehensive K-3 reading, writing, and language arts curriculum that provides an explicit, systematic approach to teaching.     The results in this report show that Open Court schools outgain Non-Open Court comparison. The results of the study provide clear and convincing evidence that students attending schools using Open Court materials acquire basic reading skills faster than students attending demographically similar schools not using Open Court materials.
